Our way is peace

CIM TEAM On June - 22 - 2011

Adelina Stuparu is a volunteer from Romania, although we can say she is British as well since she lived there during three years, celebrates every British holiday and considers herself as being a subject of the Queen. She graduated in International Relations and Politics from the University of Essex, England, place that she misses a lot even though she enjoys her time in Bosnia.

Apart from working hard, she spends her time dancing and loves Latin American culture. Adelina cooks very well sarmale and stuffed peppers, Romanian amazing dishes, which can also be found in Bosnia. She has been appreciating the similarities between Bosnian and Romanian cultures and we discover them with her. Her hate for slugs and vegetables is total but hopefully she will engage into a reconciliation process with them. She is passionate about nationalism and politics, reads a lot about it when she does not read books from Dickens, and she will apply very soon for Masters in this field after her work with CIM ends. She might leave us in December but will come back soon in 2012, because her love for us is inherent.

  1. Adelina says:

It’s funny to revisit this article and see that a certain someone wrote I hated vegetables. How ironic that just a year after this was written, I became a vegetarian.

Other than that, I just felt like writing to say that I really miss working in the CIM office, and all the lovely people there. I shall see you again soon though!
