Erol Mehmedović is born in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, where he finished education and make a first steps in civil society activism. He’s currently living and working in Sarajevo.

Within his medical professional background, as a member of several civil society organization he was involved in creation and implementation of different policies and documents on health promotion, especially focused on vulnerable and social excluded groups.

“My first experience in working with victims of war was during my work with refugees in refugee camp near Macedonia-Kosovo border. Testimonies of ordinary peoples, peoples that in one moment loss everything, theirs suffers and pains, strongly engage in my understanding of the importance of peace building and reconciliation as a foundation of prosper and happy life.”
